One of the main reasons I gave up on Elite Dangerous was due to the Engineer random weapons system. It's just a glorified gatcha grind and is utterly pathetic. Hopefully the weapons won't have something similar here. I have no issue with manufacturing modifications etc. just not the gatcha randomnes...

The No Brackets version removes the corner brackets and a couple of the other clutter elements from the UI on other ships/stations/gates. Unfortunately all my old images got photobucketed, need to do some thread maintenance :lol:

For TC I believe so, they aren't updated to the 2016 edition though. If you do an AP start the 2016 version is definitely the way to go. May even be backwards compatible, but haven't played TC in ages so can't confirm.

Copy the .exe and rename it to X3AP_n.exe if it's the nosteam one. Should fix the install issue.

To my knowledge and IEX based save is not compatible with returning to a vanilla universe (IEX actually is a different universe map).

Maybe it doesn't... I have the Trix XUniverseHUD and it doesn't because it's only a graphical replacer; according to Trix anyway - I haven't tested it Mine doesn't mark it as modded as it's a texture override via the dds folder. It doesn't affect the gameplay or alter any ingame sectors or anything...

It's a more macro style of gameplay with an emphasis on Fleet's and Empire building, as there are actual tough enemies to defeat in the form of OCV and Phanon.
