Oh yeah.. forgot to mention. I always do the Hub trek in a M5 kestrel.... I never go thru those sectors with combat in mind. Once you finally activate the hub then any ship with a jump drive can get to it with little trouble. And I don't think I've ever seen a Q just hang out in the hub. Xenon ship...
