Update is up. Gold HUD 2016 v1 is now available (old hud still at bottom of OP). Image taken from LU so gun icons are incorrect as is Title colouring. It's a mod of my old UI from 2013 by Solarhawk to be compatible with LU. Not sure why you get the chaff error though, as looking at the stuff in the installer it shouldn't create that issue.

I'm about to upload a new one in a few hours, just waiting on the OK from Mr Litcube Sir :)

You need to basically use LU as the base or find a way to kill GOD and JOBS. Hence the need for something to re-introduce those mechanics procedurally. It's possible but it's not easy.

Nothing in the Gold UI should be altering the Chaff to readtext35-112 as to do that it would need to alter a file that shouldn't exist in it's installer.

It's not that easy man... I did this . I'm not even talking about the numerous incomprehensible bugs you will encounter if you do that ; the gameplay (economics, fights, how do they conquer ? how do you grow as a player ? etc.) will require a lot of attention and many submods and scripts. X3 is not...

I'll put up an interim version today. Still waiting on my HD data recovery for the original PSD's (not sure I want the pain of remaking every damn Icon again!).

I was in the process of porting it across when the HD died :(

It'd be pretty cool if the Galactica starred as an M1 type ship with heavy defences and of course hangars for Vipers. Albion Pride should be a light M6 not an M3, but it's the way that Egosoft set it up, same with Springblossom really.
