New version released that has the updated universe generator. If you created a galaxy with the old version please regen it with the newer version.

It's importxmf to convert. The first argument is the directory you extracted the files. Second is to the xml of the ship you want to convert. Vulcan is not an engine just the framework for drawing graphics, so its up to Egosoft if their engine will support it ( They all ready said they would). I am guessing its more to do with the extra work load creating the new GUI and testing that comes with it, along with having to go that extra mile ...

That's controlled by the engine, along with a few other issues which is why they were mostly dark grey/black in the game. Bright colours show up some issues.

Yeh you will still get the trails just not the modified lens effects for them ( different size/textures/colours).

Never heard of it causing a CTD but as you say it might be conflicting with another mod. If I remember correctly it wont work 100% with anything that modifies tships. Not sure if there is anything else ( I cant remember what file is what any more).
