Laser Turret Deployment Reset on Station attack, it's a Bug?

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing a potential bug with laser turrets and damage on enemy station. When I attack an enemy station and deploy laser turrets, if I need to leave to buy more turrets from another sector, everything resets when I return. This means:

- My deployed turrets are gone.
- All damage dealt to the station's defenses, shields, and defense drones is reset.
- Basically, it's like the attack never happened.

Is anyone else encountering this issue? Is this a known bug, or is there something I'm missing?

Here's some additional information about the situation:

- Game Version: 6.20 (511811)
- DLC: all available dlc installed, no Mods
- Station Type: [Xenon Energy Station and Defence Station]
- Deployment Method:

I'm also curious if there are any known workarounds for this issue in the meantime.
