What is this thing?

Found something in Grand Exchange 1, its like a twisting rock formation with glowing blue bits on it ..

Location is down to the South East of GE1, and there is like a massive space cloud around its location ..

Lots of Hydrogen and Ice in the area, I was hoping for Nividium but resource probes do not register any.

Ornamental lore related?
Or possibly mineable?

This location reensambles the one in the Maelstron system of X-Rebirth where the secret Split base is located.

It is a reuse case in X4 of the models of Special Points of Interest as used in X Rebirth. Another example case being all the Aqueducts.

I suspect that more could have been made in terms of the significance of these POI in X4 if the devs had had the time.

So probably just an ornamental lore nice thing to come across, inducing a bit of mystery.

The cloud on the map is a bit clunky, I think its supposed to very slowly rotate, but its more like a very slow slideshow, it does about a quarter of a turn on the map, then pauses for three to four seconds, then does another quarter turn .. But doesnt actually turn to the new angle it just jumps the quarter turn to the next angle of rotation.

Anyway, it had me studying for a while so its a nice if baffling ornament of interest.

Thanks Pesanur, I bought Rebirth but didn't play it much, so didn't know about this.
There are other anomalies which are a nod to previous games in the series, so I guessed this was similar.
