Cool, thanks CBJ - that should keep the download size down nicely.CBJ wrote:It does require X3TC to be installed.Scoob wrote:Does this actually need TC installed or is it stand-alone?
One more Q: I assume this will work equally well with a Steam copy of TC as well as an original DVD install? Actually, I don't assume that considering my Steam games go to an entirely different folder...
Any more info would be appreciated if you are able to provide it
Cheers,
Scoob.

Wish you well ES with the new exp pack. Sadly it still wont get me to play due to the strong dislike for the x3 series as been from the old crowd who started with xbtf and up to x2. Still gl with it and all.
Looking forward to x rebirth tho still as it at least offers change in some form compared to rinse and repeat games that's been happening for years.

Hmmm ... owning the 'Superbox', but not willing to use Steam for X. How to get my hands on that expansion?
Though I like Steam and use it for other stuff, I like to have X on it's very own partition. Steam simply 'kills' that possibility with it's stupid hardcoded installdirectories.

... what is a drop of rain, compared to the storm? ... what is a thought, compared to the mind? ... our unity is full of wonder which your tiny individualism cannot even conceive ... I've heard it all before ... you're saying nothing new ... I thought I saw a rainbow ... but I guess it wasn't true ... you cannot make me listen ... I cannot make you hear ... you find your way to heaven ... I'll meet you when you're there ...

Three rotation axes are supported, but the default is to only use yaw and pitch, roll can be configured.Mark III wrote:On the youtube page it says:
Features Overview
- Support for head tracking
Does that mean TrackIr? If so how many axes?
TrackIR is the best option, as the tracking uses markers on your head and is therefore very accurate. Tracking by face recognition is less accurate as the rotation of your head has to be guessed with image processing.
Yes i just realized yaw and pitch will do just nice since there is no cockpit.Martin wrote:Three rotation axes are supported, but the default is to only use yaw and pitch, roll can be configured.Mark III wrote:On the youtube page it says:

Coming from flightsims i have been using TrackIr for years and to be able to use it in X is fantastic.
I hope Rebirth will have the same support for tracking devices(?).
