This is definitely not an M6. Neither an M3 nor any other combat prone vessel. It is a TS class or at the worst case a TP but I guess that is doubtfull, since it has no windows. One might expect, in a game that has such great level of detail (and is advertised as such), that the designers would have thought of that as well. TS fits the image though because of the shape of the vessel, which seems to be built to stack cargo at its hull. (Long and straight).

Combat ships don’t need to look like that, not to mention that it’s not a good idea for a ship of this type to have such big side area. It makes an easy target.

Unless of course this ship is actually the all new Xenon M9 class with 2 main beam guns and 2 rapid fire torpedo launchers at the bottom.

EDIT: Any chance we will see terabyte's and Leviathan's planets in one of those screenshots? After all you promised to show us, didn't you?

EDIT2: Nice to see that the "shiny" effect has disappeared form the ship’s hull.

is that little spot another ship? it is over the planet, look left under the bottom twin tails of the big one... it looks like it has an engine and it appears quite far

I guess that, given the distance, you can't say if this is a ship, a spacefly, or nothing at all...

First impression I thought it was a passenger liner.

But thats definelty looks a shed load of guns underneath the hull..

So based on the assumptions that it appears to have guns and the general shape of it.. I would say its a pirate ship TS class

if you look carefully, it's targeted red in the reticle.

And that big structure on the underside definitely looks like gunnery. Wonder what that makes it... I'm still aiming at an M6 myself.

I’m more interested in the claw shaped marking on the side of the ship. I have never seen any markings like those in any of the X games before and it’s like a logo or race marking.

So that could mean maybe it’s not one of the standard 7 X Races ships? and if thats the case who does it belong to?

Maybe it's a TP, captured by pirates and retrofitted with a Yaki interference device, as mentioned in various interviews.

Hasnt anyone noticed the awesome background? Ship looks OK but it was the background that grabbed my attention.
