Hey guys been a long time so how close is this mod to being totally finished I can't afford multiple downloads so I don't want to have to download a 3.0 here in a month I know 2.0 was supposed to be the end but some people just can't stop improving I wish this was compatible with the 2.7.1 version of game well here goes nothing let's push my data limit to the limit

OK.. after an evening of letting the Argon blow me to pieces, I am hoping some may have some hints or guidance...

I am on a mission with Goner Tomas Selek and friend, and we are off to OTAS and my high Argon Rep does not stop all red stations.

We are supposed to be met at the gate by Argon Security and escorted to OTAS, staying within 5km of escort...

I wait at the gate, they sit there...
I approach he says to proceed to my destination, I turn, and their M3's come after me, with the HCentaurs right behind, opening up with all they have. I have tried a few variations, and all end up the same..

I skip the escort, and OTAS is red, and not allowing landing.

So no matter how I try to follow, everyone shoots at me, even though I appear to be following instructions.....
Thanx for any hints...

edit: Thanx 150147... I would never have thought to follow an M6 while getting it from his back turret, and several M3's behind scratching my a**... All the way to OTAS, shield only got down to 90%.... Good thing I brought my HCentaur... (with turrets off)

This is a tricky one. It took me a few attempts to get it right.

You need to go ahead of the escort centaur but stay within 5 km of him!
Use ShiftF to match speed.

The remaining escort will still attack you so you need to use evasive manoeuvres. Try cork screwing (roll right and Strafe left).

You will still be hit occasionally but as long as you are in a ship with reasonable shields (I use an M6) you should be OK.

When you are close to the station you will be instructed to land. A docking computer is useful at this point.

wtf cant i dock with most stations on the "Neil Armstrong" korvette...its
a corvette not a destroyer ..even a super tanker can dock at a solar power plant, why cant i ???? i even have all upgrades u can buy in the game for that ship and i cant even trade with freight drones...cuz the trade option stays inactive at close distance and 1 freight drone takes the only available HANGAR spot!?!?

so many things are still borked in this mod that i hoped it would fix some are
even worse than a vanilla x3tc with good plugins....

i have that trading extension thingy with all other stuff u can buy installed
to be able to buy stuff at close range to a station cuz i cant dock at it, but
that doesnt work. i even claimed a freight drone to see if that helps me...(freight drones should always work) but ... NO TRADE MENU.
"neil armstrong" corvette (yokohama class?) cant even dock at a XL Solar plant? that is horribly annoying.

and that paranid nemesis following me around as if i had a tracking device
in my ship ...that is frankly even more annoying...

Corvettes in XTC don't have docking slots. I'm fairly certain that the 'Niel Armstrong' is a Yokohama frigate, which is why it can't dock at most stations. You started with it, right? Terran Commander?

Having a problem here.

Tried to install this mod but the installer very near the end said the mp3 files were corrupted and then seemed to hang on the t file....only options were close...cancel.

I didn't get the option screen for smoke and paricles and such...

I fake patched the 2.1 in. And started a new game....everything SEEMS ok ...green 2.1 but I have music. In teladi start sector but am a bit worried about unknown effects....

Is there a way to get into the 2.0 installer?,,
The only net acess is the library and I. Can barely get this dled in the 2 hours I get per day. Not to mention its a bit of trip to. Get there.

Again everything seems ok but I'm. Paranid obout it!

Can't speak for the corruption issues, but it seems the optional installation features were removed for the 2.0 version, or we both have faulty installations. I didn't have an option to choose engine smoke/particle effects/etc. either though it's listed in the .pdf accompanying the download. I wouldn't sweat that part as far as potential bugs.

the 2.0 installer doesnt have the options iirc, so that is not a problem on your end

Not sure about the corruption... never heard about that before.

heres a quick question: did the khaak tm class get thrown out of the latest release or is there a light carrier taking its place somewhere? I've been in a dozen big fights with up to 30 khaak ships at a time and never seen one. It was one of my favorite khaak ships and is either gone or very,very hard to find.

you must be hoping we'll hate it then just as much as you did because I know code is annoying and u hated it

Love the artwork beautiful station design my only complaint is there's no manual or if there is one I can't find it I give you guys a thumbs up

and now we wait for Rebirth and the new mods, like getting out of the 'only craft you can fly' and back into other new ships and fleets. thats mod #1, and ego knows it..hehe.

Figured I'd mention it I was in boron space and a khaak invasion force arrived luckily the military responded well saved my newly places BG factory but I had to play it out twice I had a error report watching the fight the first time so be warned Khaak may cause error

Hi Guys.

Since I installed the 2.1 patch, the Paranid and Pirate plots are fixed but the Enemy at the Gate plot stalls after the first mission (i.e. no further progress) and the Split plot does not start at all. This is over a number of different starts, reloads and reinstalls. Can not get round this problem.

Has any one else had this? I have even transferred to a non Steam install but no help!

Any one any ideas how to fix?
