[Mod]Engine Colours + particle trails MK 2 Release V0.03 beta [12/04 CMOD compatible]
This is the Mk 2 version of my Engine Colours + particle trails mod that can be found here :: http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=249690
Overview:
This mod adds X2 style ship trails to all X3:TC ships.
Features:
-- All M8, M6, M5, M4, M3, TS, TP, TM ships and drones have X2 trails and new Particle effects and lens flares.
--All M7, M2, M1, TL ships have new animated X2 style trails along with new lens flares.
-- All races/factions have different colours and styles.
--Currently Xeon and Terran ships all have animated trails, all ships will have these added in the near future.

As I have edited every ship in the game there will be bugs and errors. I haven't got the time to test every ship for long periods so will miss things. So if you see any bugs please report them so I can fix them.
Possible bugs are::
--Missing trails
--Misplaced trails
--Non working animation
--Non firing weapons/incorrect cockpit view
Modders:: PM me if you are not sure about what I have changed/updated. If adding my trails to your own ships first see if any of my engines fit. If your ship is Xeon/Terran or M7 or larger (except M8 ) use an animated trail. If M7 or larger (apart from M8 ) do not use a particle trail(still place the emitter). Look at my ships to check what you should use for your class/size)

Its now Cmod compatible ready, in that the only thing that needs to be done is for paul to add Cmod effects and particles to my files (copy and paste 5 min joby).
OT: i agree, all i play with are the mini-mods that just change a little here and a little there, ^-^

killerog do the trails come through the front of the ships when on SETA?
in my current game, ive been using a Blastclaw Prototype with SRM/CMOD4 and one of those adds trails, which when i turn on SETA (x10) and move a full speed, start appearing in Front of my ship and right in my field of view,
i downloaded one of your trail mods from the SRM thread and it did the same thing,
so i was wondering if this version still does it, or perhaps, is there a way to turn them off while in SETA?

Bug with SETA. Every now and then the playership skips and goes from max speed to zero for a split second and the trails go in front. Cause of the bug is unknown to me, though others might be more aware of it.
